This Solar device is ideal for rural and remote areas, it can be used anywhere in the world.  Designed specifically as a low-tech method to make safe drinking water, the Sol Saver d disinfects using the energy of the sun and requires no electricity, fossil fuels, chemicals, or a pressurized water source.  The Sol Saver automatically disinfects 800-1,000 liters per sunny day; based on 1 liter per person, that's enough drinking water for 800-1,000 people.  Multiple systems can be installed for larger groups.

• In low light conditions, an optional backup burner uses any form of combustible fuel to disinfect 113 liters per hour.
• Installation is easy using a few basic hand tools in a few hours.
• Works as a flow-through pasteurizer, water automatically moves through the system from the supply tank to the collector and into a safe water storage tank.
